Gautam Singhania, chairman of Raymond Group, has a net worth of $1.4 billion

Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani lives in the world’s most expensive private residential house valued over $2 billion, GQ India reported.

With a house like that it only makes sense that his neighbours will also be billionaires.

Raymond Group’s Chairman and Managing Director, Gautam Singhania, lives besides the Ambani’s in India’s second most expensive house after Antilia. It is worth almost $81 million.

The house located in Mumbai has 30 floors and includes, two swimming pools, a helipad, five floors of parking, a spa, a gym, and a home theatre among other things.

The JK house is India’s second-tallest private building.

According to the Hindustan Times, Gautam has a net worth of $1.4 billion and his company, the Raymond Group, generates revenue of over INR500 billion.

After his father, Vijaypat Singhania, retired in September 1990, Gautam assumed leadership of the Raymond Group and the company reorganised its emphasis on fabrics and apparel brands under his direction.

Gautam holds a degree in commerce from Mumbai University and has been involved in the business for over 30 years.

He is a luxury car collector and has a fleet of cars including Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Mustangs, to name a few.
