Matt Damon’s ‘reservations’ for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship turning true

Matt Damon has proved to be a true friend of Ben Affleck by supporting him in trying times – but he can’t hold the truth anymore.

The Jason Bourne actor has always been “extremely weary” of his best friend’s marriage with Jennifer Lopez.

As per OK! Magazine, the insider revealed, “Matt’s had serious reservations about Bennifer 2.0 since the beginning,” the source alleged of Damon’s feelings toward the power couple.

“He’s tried to be publicly supportive for Ben’s sake, but the fact is he hates the way J.Lo treats his buddy and can no longer hold his tongue!”

As the tensions between the Argo actor and the On the Floor hit maker are at all-time high due to singer’s controlling behaviour, the insider claimed, “It’s no secret Ben and J.Lo haven’t been getting along, as he always seems to be in the doghouse.”

“It’s obvious something needs to change, but when Matt started giving Ben advice, he totally blew up,” the insider stated of the alleged discussion between the longtime pals who grew up together in Boston, Mass.

“It feels like history repeating itself because 20 years ago, they stopped talking for the exact same reason.”

“But Matt can’t keep quiet, even if it means alienating Ben,” the source added. “Seeing his pal out there posing on one red carpet after another, totally playing up this role as J.Lo’s arm candy, makes Matt nauseous. He can’t stand to see her emasculate Ben.”

In another news, Damon is also trying to keep Affleck occupied amid his divorce from Lopez.

“Matt’s No. 1 priority right now is keeping Ben out of trouble,” as per In Touch Weekly. “The last thing anyone wants is for Ben to turn to alcohol again.”

Matt has straight out told him that relapse is not an option.” Ben has struggled with addiction in the past, completing rehab in 2018 with the support of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

“She’s always been a calming influence on Ben. Which is why Matt’s pushing Ben to stay super close to her and their three kids,” the source explained.
