Harry Kane scored his debut goal for Bayern and assisted in a goal.

Harry Kane has become the second English player to score a goal on his Bundesliga debut. The former Tottenham forward sent a through pass to Leroy Sane for the first goal in 4 minutes into the first half.

Kane went forth to score his Bundesliga debut in the 74th minute against Werder Bremen in on calm manner. The £100m signing wasted no time in putting his name on the scoresheet, something he’s born to do.

The beautiful thing in the game was the chemistry between him and Leroy Sane in the Bremen half of the field which accounted for the assist from Kane to Sane. They played the quick one two touch and a nice flick from Kane to Sane made it possible for the skillful Sane made no mistakes in putting his name and the German champions on the scoresheet.

After the game he missed no word in describing the game as “the perfect start”

“It was fantastic. There’s been a lot of talk and a lot of build-up towards this game so I just couldn’t wait to get out there and get started.

“It started well with the goal early on. It was a tough game; we created some good chances but just lacked the final product. They came out in the second half and caused us a couple of problems for five to 10 minutes” He stated.

“But we stayed calm and then obviously I managed to get the second goal, and then the boys finished it off from the bench.

“Overall, just the perfect start and I’m looking forward to the next week and the next one.”

He went further to clarify his love for dropping deep and supporting play when asked about his assist.

“You’ve seen with my game over the last four or five years I like to drop deep and link play.

“I think with the pace we have in this team around me it works perfectly. But I’m a No 9 first and foremost, so I’ve got to get in the box and make the runs forward.

“I’m really happy. We’ve got a fantastic squad, I’m excited to be a part of it. Overall, just a really good team performance.”

The English moved to Bayern Munich on a £100m fee from Tottenham Hotspurs.
