Thomas Muller congratulates Messi on his stunning goal against Nashville SC.

World Cup winner and Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller posted three clapping emojis under MLS twitter post on Messi’s incredible goal from outside the box during the Leagues Cup finals between Nashville SC and Inter Miami.

The German player congratulated Messi for his stunning strike which happened to be the only goal of Inter Miami in regulation time seeing them to the penalties.

Messi scored that breathtaking goal in the 23 minutes of the first half. The equalizer came in the second half which took the game to extra time and penalties. Messi stepped up to take the first kick and converted it beautifully. His performance on that night was superb and won him the best player and the top scorer award.

The former PSG player has shown yet again that he is capable of making changes in a team and in a game. Prior to his move to the Florida based club, Inter Miami had never won a trophy since its establishment in 2018 and his arrival made that feat possible.

Having only arrived a month ago, Messi has gone on to win his 44th major trophy of his career for club and country, making him the most decorated player of all time. This is a subtle warning to the Major League Soccer that one of the greatest footballers on planet earth is in town.
