The Ghanaian international who plays for Ajax joins West Ham United on a five year deal worth £38m. He’s joined the long list of players who have changed clubs this summer. What started as rumors turned out to be true. The news was reported by social media influencer , Caughtoffside columnist Fabrizio Romano on his Twitter ( Now X ) account:

“Mohammed Kudus to West Ham, here we go! Verbal agreement sealed with Ajax on €45m total package add-ons included plus sell-on clause

Player’s five year deal also agreed and medical booked on Saturday.

Huge work by new director Tim Steidten, waiting to sign docs in 48h.”

The player who had played a vital role in Ghana’s campaign at the 2022 World Cup has become one of the most productive strikers in the world and it’s definitely a good news to the West Ham squad and its supporters. The 23 year old is joining the club on a five year deal and it’s an opportunity for him to replicate the legacies of some of West Ham’s legends like Frank Lampard, Dimitri Payet etc and also an opportunity to raise the flag of Ghana high in the EPL akin to what the likes of Micheal Essien, Sulley Muntari , Asamoah Gyan did in the EPL during their heydays. His dribbling skill is one quality that makes him an ideal player wherever he goes.

Kudus will undergo medical on Saturday.

Kudus joined Ajax from Nordsjaelland and made 87 appearances in all competitions scoring 39 goals.
