Drake’s fans were disappointed after his show in Vancouver was canceled.
Fans of the “Hotline Bling” singer were left disappointed when his show in Vancouver was canceled two hours before the show.
As scheduled for “It’s All A Blur Tour” , Drake was set to perform the first two shows at Rogers Arena but it was called off due to technical issues which the management of the facility announced on X formerly known as Twitter that it was due to unforeseen circumstances with the newly-installed videoboard.
“Tonight’s Drake performance will now take place on Wednesday, August 30,” wrote CSE Canucks Sports and Entertainment — which manages Rogers Arena. “All tickets will be honoured.
“Drake was ready and excited to perform,” CSE said. “He is looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rogers Arena apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Avid fans of the superstar expressed their disappointment and displeasure with the news.
“I planned this months in advance,” another said. “I saved a lot of money and we got here and was so happy about it and two hours before it was supposed to happen, they give us this excuse that the stage wasn’t finished.” One fan stated.
“If we were to stay, we’d have to get hotel, change our flights,” Another fan added.
“It’s All A Blur Tour” is a co-headlining tour by Drake and 21 Savage to promote their album Her Loss.
