Hiphop music producer Dr Dre and music executive and entertainment icon Jimmy Iovine have partnered with Atlanta Public Schools to help unlock every potential in the kids and showcase it to the rest of the world.

Jimmy Iovine is a co-founder of Interscope Records and Dr Dre is the founder of Aftermath records and the name behind some of the big records in music history from 2pac, Eminem et cetera.

Jimmy Iovine was joined by another great songwriter and producer Dallas Austin who supported the initiative in the absence of Dr. Dre who couldn’t show up.

Jimmy Iovine shared his thoughts on the partnership:

“These kids have superpowers, we believe we’re going to give these kids an advantage, a different type of education. So, you all can sell these kids, go out there and say you want these kids. Because the modern job needs these kids. That’s why,” Iovine stated.

“Iovine and Young Center,” which is the surnames of Jimmy and Dr Dre is the name of the partnership which is created to mix rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum with real-world opportunities.

“Me and Dre think big. We think everybody in the world’s going to learn like this well, maybe! We never thought everybody in the world would wear our headphones, but they did,”  He mentioned.

This is not the first time Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are partnering on an initiative. The two worked on BeatbyDre headsets in the past and have been great friends and business partners.
