Messi isn’t  stopping his brilliance anytime soon and it’s pretty clear with the way he’s performing. Such a phenomenal player with so much to offer anytime he touches the ball. After seeing Barcelona through a historic period, the Argentine would go on to do more exploits with a lesser known club in the MLS Inter Miami.

Messi joined the club during the summer transfer and wasted no time in continuing his legacy as one of the greatest players to ever play football. Prior to his arrival, the club had never won a trophy since 2018 when it was established. He delivered into the hands the club, its first trophy “The Leagues Cup” winning goal king and the best player.

This happened after leading Argentina to clinch the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in a thrilling final against France which had people sitting on tenterhooks throughout the entire game. Argentina had a rough start in the tournament losing to Saudi Arabia and after the final it reminded many of Spain in 2010 when they lost their first group game against Switzerland but went on to win the 2010 World Cup in South Africa by beating one of the favorites of the 2010 tournament the Netherlands in what was also a difficult game for both sides.

The brilliance of Messi on the field of play is one that cannot be overlooked. His presence in any game has the propensity to change results. He did so many times with Barcelona which won him many awards including the Ballon D’or.
