King Charles drops a major sign of continuing his role with key move in Australia

King Charles has seemingly made it clear that he has no plans to abdicate with his telling gesture during the Australia trip.

A body language expert, Darren Stanton told In Touch Weekly that the monarch appeared healthy and genuinely happy during walkabouts.

He said, “Generally, when people are not feeling great, they will exhibit certain postures and behavior such as hunched up shoulders, fake smiles, and put[ting] on their game face.”

However, the King was “very comfortable” as his shoulders were down and there were no fake smiles. “He is happy to be seen as a normal human being.”

For the unversed, there were speculations that the monarch might step down from his role and pass on the crown to his son Prince William amid his health woes.

But, the King apparently clapped back at the rumours by successfully completing his Australia tour.

Speaking of Charles’s sweet gesture with the common people, Darren said, “He’s not distancing himself, he wanted to embrace the essence of what the event is about.”

“Overall, it’s a great piece of footage that shows the King at his best, being himself, relaxed, his shoulders down. There’s no sign of nerves, playing with cufflinks or hands in his pockets,” he added.
