Whats brewing between Elon Musk and Argentine President Javier Milei?

Billionaire Elon Musk hosts Argentine President Javier Milei at Tesla headquarters on Friday in what fans refer to as “bromance,” Aawsat reported.

The duo reportedly agreed to work together on several things, including potential lithium projects and in promoting free market.

As per the Wall Street Journal, this was the first time the pair met, despite having exchanged several pleasantries on X formerly known as Twitter.

One of the richest man in the world, the Tesla owner, has showed admiration for Milei’s full-throated embrace of private enterprise on several occasions.

The chief spokesman for Milei, Manuel Adorni said that the pair met at the electric vehicle headquarters in Austin, Texas and discussed a variety of topics, ranging from the need to accelerate declining birthrates worldwide to pursuing technological development while protecting “liberty.”

In comments to media persons, Argentine Ambassador to the United States, Gerardo Werthein, said, “We talked about the investment opportunities in Argentina in lithium.”

He also said, “Musk said he wants to help Argentina.”

As per the statement posted by Adorni, Milei also offered his support to Musk over his X dispute playing out in Brazil.

Last Sunday, a Brazilian Supreme Court judge opened an investigation into Musk after the billionaire said he would reinstate X accounts that the judge had ordered blocked.
