A case of employees not feeling safe at Mc Donald’s

Employees at Mc Donald’s are reported to have been missing the easiness that comes at their working scenes, a report frome BBC says there have been many cases of sexual harrassment and this prompted their attention.

One female worker named Shelby said she was harrassed by a senior staff who forcefully  pulled her on his laps and started his advances towards her, a situation she finds highly offensive, according to her the complaints fell on death hears.

One other employee who goes by name Ginari who is only 17 years said her senior worker racially abused her , calling her many times as a monkey and showing his manhood to her, when asked why she did not report this, her response was that no one will believe her.

Her stepfather stepped in and informed many supervisors who finally took the matter to hand and sacked the supervisor three days later.

The UK parlaiment also passed a bill to ensure workers safety and email hotlines were quickly set up for the workers.

There has been allegations for five years now about female employeed getting severally harrassed and some has been settle using confidential agreement whiles many remain in the gallows.

McDonald’s insisted: “We already have a strong track record in this area.”

“There is a saying at McDonald’s, “tits on tills” – boys in the kitchen, girls on the counter. The idea is to put attractive people at the front,” said Lucy, who’s 22 and worked in Norwich.

“It’s the expectation that if you work at McDonald’s, you will be harassed,” added Emily, who’s 20. She left her branch in Brighton last year, after a male colleague in his 60s kept stroking her hair in a sexually suggestive way and making her feel uncomfortable.
