Buckingham Palace issues statement as King Charles takes key decision
King Charles honours ‘brave’ and ‘devoted’ individuals amid ongoing Prince Andrew scandal

King Charles’ office issued a fresh statement after the monarch made surprising changes to the annual pre-Christmas lunch.
On December 16, the official Instagram page of the royal family released a delightful video of the beaming monarch, honouring the brave individuals with prestigious accolades.
The message alongside the video reads, “Last week, in a special reception at Buckingham Palace, The King honoured individuals with The King’s Gallantry Medal and The King’s Commendation for Bravery in recognition of their extraordinary acts of bravery.”
“Amongst recipients was Georgia Laurie, who was awarded the medal for her heroic actions when saving her sister from a crocodile attack in Mexico in 2021!”
“Congratulations to all the recipients for their remarkable bravery!”
It is important to mention that King Charles’ new update came after HELLO! reported that the royal family’s annual pre-Christmas lunch will take place at Buckingham Palace instead of Windsor Castle.
The monarch has seemingly taken this key decision amid the ongoing controversy over Prince Andrew’s involvement with an alleged Chinese spy.
Moreover, the King and the royal family will also delight royal fans with their traditional walk in Sandringham on Christmas.
