Daniel Craig discusses challenges of fame that came along with ‘James Bond’
‘007’ star finally bids farewell to the iconic character

Daniel Craig, who is widely known to play James Bond, has addressed the problems he faced while being a part of the big franchise.
The 57-year-old took over the 007 in 2006s Casino Royale. He then continued playing the character in four more films of the series namely Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021).
Today, the world knows Daniel very well due to his depiction of the world-famous detective. But all this fame came with a price.
The Bond star believes that the franchise made him distant to the world.
While talking about the nature of fame that came in with the film series, he explained to Italy’s Il Corriere della Sera, “Fame is disembodying. And no one teaches you how to be famous.
He went on to say, “At the beginning, I hid away, I didn’t want to be around people, I no longer knew how to exist in the world.”
Craig felt like ‘losing a part of his life’ with all the popularity that he gained with the character.
The English actor has finally bid farewell to his iconic character. The next Bond film will now feature an entirely new actor to take over the role.
