Drake shares his nolstagic moment with a post on Instagram spanning to when he started his Degrassi audition.
The Canadian rapper was asked by a fan what his biggest fear was when growing up as a kid and especially his youth, like always Drake remained nostalgic taking us deep into his youthful life.
Ahead of his 21 Savage’s, It’s All A Blur Tour which is happening on Wednesday night 5 of July , The Gods time hitmaker shared in his Instagram post a heartfelt diary of how far he has come from a black and blue career.
“Someone asked me the other night what my biggest fear is and I’ve never actually had a good answer for it,” he narrated. “But my answer was that all this is for nothing. Kind of the idea that one day life just ends and it all goes black.
“And I guess that question sent me, you know, obviously deep into a spiral of thought. And it makes me think about my life and how surreal it feels at times.”
Drake was however philosophical sighting a life that perhaps ends and then who knows starts all over again and again.
Recounting his teenage years, Drake remembered exactly the time when he was about to embark on his Degrassi audition and how that will change his life for good
“I go back to this day when I was like 13 or 14. I had an audition for a TV show that ultimately shaped my life, and before my audition, I went to this kid’s house and out of, I guess a desire to be accepted, I would succumb to peer pressure and I got high with these kids right before my audition,” he explained.
“I kind of wonder if something bad happened that day or maybe I’m still high, or this is some coma and this is me playing out my ideal life. And yeah that concept has stuck with me for a lot of years. I mean it feels like reality, it feels tangible but I definitely wonder sometimes.”
It’s been 2 decades and counting and the rapper icon is still ever-active in the music world and even planning a loss collaborator with 21 Savage.
