DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Celebrates First Thanksgiving as Family of 4: ‘Beyond Blessed’
Lindsay Arnold celebrated her first Thanksgiving as a mom of two!
The former Dancing with the Stars pro, 29, shared a few photos from her holiday on Instagram, which included a family snapshot with husband Samuel Lightner Cusick and daughters Sage Jill, 3, and 6-month-old June.
The post began with a sweet photo of the family of four standing in front of the water. Wearing matching cream and white colored ensembles, they smiled from ear to ear as they looked at the camera.
In the second photo, the professional dancer carried her daughters as the sun sets behind them. Arnold also included a photo with her sisters, their mother and additional members of her extended family.

She shared in the caption, “Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours 🫶 grateful and beyond blessed to call these people my family 🫶 #thanksgiving #happythanksgiving.” In a TikTok video, she also showcased a view of her and her daughters walking in the sand during the holiday.
Arnold announced in August 2022 that she was stepping away from DWTS to focus on being a mom. “This has been one of the hardest decisions to make but ultimately I have chosen what I feel is best for myself and my family. DWTS has been a part of my life for over 10 years now and when I say I love the show with all of my heart I mean it,” she shared on Instagram.

After her younger sister, Rylee, signed on as a pro for season 32, she called it as “a full circle moment.”
“To say I am proud is truly an understatement. This girl is the hardest worker, beyond talented, humble, and so kind and she is going to absolutely kill it this season,” she wrote next to photos of the two on Instagram. She also took the opportunity to reflect on her experience on the show.
“I distinctly remember when I did this same thing at 19 years old and had no idea how much my life was about to be blessed and changed by doing DWTS, and I’m so so excited to watch my sister shine and have her moment now,” she wrote. In July, she shared with PEOPLE that life as a family of four is “going great.”
“I personally feel like the jump from 0-1 was more jarring and a bigger adjustment than it is going from 1-2,” she said. As for how her daughter Sage was adjusting to having a new sister, she told PEOPLE that the toddler is “obsessed” with her.
“Our first daughter Sage is obsessed with her baby sister June and watching them together makes all the crazy days more than worth it. There are definitely more moving parts in our day now but that just means even more joy and love,” she said.
