Elon Musk changes Twitter bird logo to X.
Ever since the purchase of Twitter Elon Musk has been busy trying to keep up his company running with new innovations and a recent change is the replacement of its blue bird logo to simply X.
Musk, after a 44 billion takeover of Twitter on 14 April 2022 has made several changes to keep his newly acquired company in tune with current innovations.
“Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app,” Mr. Musk posted in October, weeks before completing a $44 billion acquisition of the social network. He later said Twitter could be like WeChat, the popular Chinese app that combines social media, instant messaging, and payment services.
I don’t think we should be surprised as Twitter had earlier on made this known via their blog post
“None of our policies have changed. Our approach to policy enforcement will rely more heavily on de-amplification of violative content: freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach.”
Again, Twitter has not changed any of its policies as yet, and while Musk keeps talking about allowing more speech, and pointing the finger at past management for their perceived bias, Twitter’s rules around content, and what is and is not allowed in the app, are exactly the same.
