Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spotted with former Royal aide at Invictus Games

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen sharing a friendly moment with Nick Loughran, a former aide to Princess Kate, during the Invictus Games in Vancouver on Sunday.

The couple engaged in a lively conversation with Loughran while attending the Wheelchair Curling event at Hillcrest Recreation Centre.

Harry, 40, introduced Meghan, 43, to Loughran, who was seen shaking hands with the Duchess before exchanging animated remarks.

Loughran previously worked as a senior aide for Prince William and Princess Kate before stepping down in 2016.

Loughran stepped down from his role at Kensington Palace in 2016, denying claims that his exit was linked to rumoured romantic involvement.

His departure occurred three months after reports suggested he had ended a relationship with Kate’s aide, Rebecca Deacon, before beginning to date Clara Madden, who served as Prince Harry’s assistant.

At one point, Harry was spotted gesturing towards Loughran as Meghan leaned in to greet him, signaling a warm reunion. The trio appeared at ease, chatting throughout the event while watching the competition unfold.

Harry and Meghan maintained an enthusiastic presence at the match, cheering on the athletes as Team UK went on to secure their first medal of the Games.

The Vancouver edition of the Invictus Games, featuring over 500 athletes from 23 countries, is set to continue for nine days, celebrating the resilience and achievements of wounded service personnel.
