How Prince Harry, Meghan feel about Donald Trump’s meeting with Prince William?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be feeling “little bit nervous” about the renewed attention on Harry’s US visa status, following Prince William’s recent meeting with Donald Trump at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams addressed the situation on GB News, suggesting that while Harry and Meghan might be apprehensive, it is unlikely their visa concerns were a topic of discussion. “I very strongly doubt Harry and Meghan are a priority for the former president,” he remarked.
However, Fitzwilliams did acknowledge lingering questions about Harry’s visa application, particularly after the Duke of Sussex disclosed his past drug use in his memoir Spare.
Prince William’s meeting with Trump took place as the historic Notre Dame Cathedral reopened, four years after a devastating fire.
Representing King Charles, William attended the ceremony, marking the first interaction between a member of the Royal Family and Trump since he left the White House in 2021.
The meeting, which aimed to emphasise the close ties between the UK and the US, came just a day after William attended Princess Kate’s Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.
Harry’s visa status has been a contentious issue since the Heritage Foundation, a Washington DC-based think tank, filed a lawsuit seeking the release of his immigration records.
The group cited public interest in the matter, given Harry’s admissions about past drug use. However, a judge ruled that the records would remain private.
The controversy has also drawn comments from Trump himself. The former president previously stated that if Harry lied on his visa application, he wouldn’t offer support, calling Harry’s actions towards the late Queen “unforgivable.”
Despite the speculation, Eric Trump recently dismissed concerns about the visa issue. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said, “I don’t care about Prince Harry, and I don’t think most Americans do.” Instead, Eric praised Prince William and Princess Kate, lauding their composure and commitment to their royal roles.
