Jeremy Renner Shares Impressive Progress on 10 Month Anniversary of Snowplow Accident
Jeremy Renner is making strides in his recovery journey.
On Tuesday, the actor, 52, shared a video on Instagram showing the impressive motor skills he’s regained since he was run over by a snowplow in January.
“Today marks the day of 10 months of recovery,” Renner wrote atop the video, which featured several clips of him exercising outside.
He shared that it was the first time he had completed the exercises he was doing, which included a slow jog, high knees and a side-to-side shuffle as he went both up and downhill.
“First attempt at any of this activity (especially at steep grade) and was brought to tears of joy, hopefulness, and gratitude for all your support along with my family and friends,” he wrote in the caption.
“I keep pushing for many reasons, but you are my fuel 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #loveandtitanium,” the Avengers: Endgame actor added.

The post was flooded with comments expressing love and support for Renner, as well as awe at how far he’s come in his recovery journey.
One follower, who identified herself as a nurse, said he’s “truly incredible” for the progress he’s made as she applauded his dedication. “That’s all you. Literally. It’s how you’ve cared for your mind, your body and your soul.”
Since the near-fatal accident on Jan. 1, Renner has been open about his recovery process. Earlier this month, he shared some of the treatments he’s been experimenting with as part of his healing journey.
“I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th … everyday,” Renner wrote on Instagram on Nov. 6. “Countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on….”
The Mayor of Kingstown star went on to say that his greatest therapy has been, “his mind,” and his “will to keep pushing through his recovery” as he feels it his “his duty” to be “exceptional” after his accident.
“Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure,” he added.
In August, he shared that he was receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy twice a day as he continued to heal. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be used to treat several medical conditions, including crushing injuries like Renner’s.
