King Charles ‘private audience’ with Canadian guests at Buckingham Palace: meeting details revealed

King Charles appeared to have left a lasting impression on his guests during an important meeting at the Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
The monarch, who is also the head of state of Canada, had welcomed Gregory Peters, the 17th Usher of the Black Rod since Confederation and Raymonde Gagné, the Speaker of the Senate of Canada.
Charles had a “warm exchange of greetings” with his guests as the meeting lasted for about half an hour. While Charles had made several speeches in the French language, it didn’t fail to leave his guests in awe with his impressive fluency in the language.
During the brief meeting, they discussed national and international topics of great concern. Palace officials did not reveal further details over the content of their discussion since it was a “private audience”.
The meeting had come just a week after outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had private talks with the monarch as US President Trump made threatening remarks.
King Charles has been playing a key diplomatic role following the disaster meeting which took place in the White House between Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky.
The monarch had placated the situation from escalating as he not only showed solidarity with the European states but also invited Trump for a warm second state visit in maintain peace.
