Lukas Gage Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Chris Appleton Divorce Filing Was Made Public

Lukas Gage is going solo.

Just a few days after the news broke that he and Chris Appleton had split, the 28-year-old actor appeared at the premiere of FX’s Fargo Season 5 at Nya Studios in Los Angeles. Celebrity hairstylist Appleton filed for divorce earlier this week, citing a separation date of Nov. 10.

Despite the news, Gage — who plays the recurring character Lars Olmstead in the anthology series — appeared to be in high spirits for the cameras on the red carpet in a black zip-up top with matching black slacks and black leather boots.

He appeared on the red carpet alongside Fargo leads Jon Hamm, Juno Temple and Joe Keery.

On Monday, it was revealed that Appleton, 40, had filed for divorce from Gage citing “irreconcilable differences” with a date of separation noted as Fri., Nov. 10. The court documents also showed that a postnuptial agreement is in place.

Appleton — who is a hairstylist to stars including Kim Kardashian — married Gage in a Las Vegas ceremony on April 22 with Kardashian officiating. Their nuptials were featured on last week’s episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.

“Ring finger where the rock is,” the White Lotus star captioned a series of photos on Instagram showing the couple exchanging vows back in April.

The final video in the Instagram carousel featured the newlyweds, who stayed at the Wynn luxury hotel and casino, standing on a stage as Shania Twain serenaded them to her hit “You’re Still the One.”

Appleton and Gage had a whirlwind romance, first sparking dating rumors in February when they traveled together and posted pictures of each other on social media. They made their relationship red carpet-official in early March and soon after, Appleton confirmed the two were a couple during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I’m very happy,” the hairstylist told the host. “Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special.”

The pair wed and, in the nearly seven months that followed, they attended a number of high-profile events together. Gage even helped Appleton ring in his 40th birthday in style with a surprise celebration in Turks and Caicos in June.

Appleton and Gage are yet to publicly address their split.
