Mark Zuckerberg Celebrates 20th Anniversary of First Date with Wife Priscilla Chan: ‘What a Wild Ride’

                                                                                                 Mark Zuckerberg is looking back on his longtime love!

This week, the Meta CEO shared a throwback photo of himself and his now-wife Dr. Priscilla Chan and reminisced about how they first met.

“20 years since our first date,” the 39-year-old wrote in a post shared on Facebook. “We met at a going away party my friends threw for me in college when they thought I was about to get kicked out of school.”

Zuckerberg continued, “I asked her out but told her we’d need to go out soon since I might only have a few days left. Later on I started Facebook, we got married, and now have three wonderful girls. What a wild ride.”

In her own post, Chan shared that even though two decades have passed, “he still makes me laugh all the time and we are never short wild adventures.”

“And now we have 3 little ladies riding along with us!” she added.

As an extra special celebration of their “dateaversary”, the couple even “recreated one of their old date spots. ” @pinocchiospizza1 how did we do?” Chan asked.

Zuckerberg and Chan’s love story began in 2003 after meeting in line for the bathroom at a party at Zuckerberg’s Harvard University fraternity when he was a sophomore and she was a freshman.

The couple moved in together in September 2010, he wrote on Facebook at the time. Then, in May 2012, they tied the knot in a ceremony in their Palo Alto backyard — surprising their guests, who thought they were there to celebrate Chan’s graduation from UCSF medical school.

When the pair celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, they commemorated the special milestone by recreating one of the photos they took together on their special day back in 2012.

In March of this year, the couple welcomed their third baby together, daughter Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg.

“Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You’re such a little blessing,” the billionaire captioned the couple’s sweet announcement photo.

Zuckerberg and Chan, who are co-founders and co-CEOs at CZI, are also parents to daughters  August, 5, and Maxima “Max,” 7.
