Megan Fox Reveals She Had an Ectopic Pregnancy Before Miscarriage with Machine Gun Kelly
Megan Fox is opening up about an ectopic pregnancy she experienced when she was younger.
While speaking with WWD about her new book of poetry, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, the actress and author, 37, opened up about a miscarriage she experienced alongside fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker.
Talking about the pregnancy loss, Fox said that she also had “other things” happen to her that she hadn’t yet spoken about publicly.
“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being, and I’ve really analyzed, ‘Why was that? What was that so difficult for me?’ Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, I’ve had other things that I’m not going to say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar.”
“But I’ve been through other similar issues, but not with someone who I was so in love with,” Fox shared.
According to the Mayo Clinic, in an ectopic pregnancy, the fertilized egg attaches itself somewhere outside the uterus, oftentimes to the inside of a fallopian tube. An ectopic pregnancy can’t proceed normally, as the fertilized egg can’t survive.
Fox is mom to son Journey, 7, Bodhi, 9, and Noah, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Earlier in November, the actress opened up about her miscarriage, which she wrote about in two poems in her book.
“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” she said during a sit-down on Good Morning America.

In her book, Fox wrote about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and a day, sharing, “maybe if you hadn’t… maybe if i had…”
Elsewhere, she wrote, “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh,” and later, “but now / I have to say / goodbye.” Another line is about imagining holding the baby “as they rip you from my insides.”
“I will pay any price,” wrote Fox. “Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”
In May 2022, Kelly dedicated his Billboard Music Awards performance of his song “Twin Flame” to Fox, sharing, “And this is for our unborn child.”
