Meghan Markle has decided to ‘tactically rethink’ her upcoming major career move after the embarrassing Spotify deal fallout.

For the unversed, the Duchess of Sussex garnered praise from the episodes of her former Spotify podcast, Archetypes. However, the streaming giant’s multi-million-dollar deal with the California-based couple ended after they failed to “meet productivity benchmarks.”

However, the former Suits actress announced her new podcast series with Lemonada Media in the start of 2024 but her much-awaited project was put on hold till next year.

Now, speaking of Meghan’s possible step amid these circumstances, royal expert Gareth Russell told GB News that she would think more precisely about what kind of messages and content should be delivered in the upcoming podcast after the Spotify snub.

He said, “I don’t think it would be unnatural for the Sussexes and their team to have felt embarrassment about the quite high profile and high publicity criticism that their Spotify era garnered and the comments that were made personally about their work ethic by people who had worked with them.”

The royal commentator added, “It would be perfectly understandable if they were embarrassed by that or if they were delaying things.”

“However, it could also be that they are having a tactical rethink about what messages and what contents they put out into the world,” Gareth shared.
