Messi refuses to speak to the press after his debut in the MLS.

Messi had an awesome start to the MLS on Saturday against New York Red Bulls treating the thousands in attendance to a mouth watering performance in which he led Inter Miami to a 2-0 taking a comfortable bite  of the Big Apple.

But none of his awesome talent made the headlines due to the fact that he’s likely to be punished by the MLS for not speaking in the post match interview. It’s a rule for players to made available to face the press after every game in the MLS and after his impeccable debut on his debut in the MLS and also a visit to the Big Apple, the press had some questions for him but Messi didn’t show up.

Messi who started from the bench, came on showcasing the reason why he has won the Ballon dor seven times putting smiles on the faces of many of the spectators.

Even though it was made public prior to the game that player should be made available for interviews, Inter Miami spokeswomen Molly Dreska made it clear that Miessi would not be available for interviews. Even though no decision has been made it, there’s still the possibility of the 2022 World Cup winner being punished.

Messi who has so far had a beautiful start to life in the United States could face punishment for going against the MLS rules.

Messi has scored 11 goals since joining Inter Miami in 9 games helping them win the leagues cup trophy.
