It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Monaco!
Keeping with tradition, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene gathered around the Christmas tree with their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, for their annual holiday card.
Snapped a few weeks ago inside the palace, this year’s glittering holiday card features the royal family in coordinated formalwear gathered around their Christmas tree. Princess Charlene sets a stylish tone in a full-length brown velvet ball gown. Matching his dad, Prince Jacques sports a bow tie and dinner jacket while leaning against his mother’s shoulder.
And continuing her holiday tradition, Princess Gabriella simply owns her pose!

Inside, the card contains text in French, English and Monagasque: “May this holiday season bring all the happiness for you and your loved ones. Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2024.”

Up next on the family’s holiday schedule is Wednesday’s annual palace party for Monaco’s children. The event is unique and one especially close to Prince Albert and his family.
Started by Albert’s mother Princess Grace as an in-palace party when she had just arrived in Monaco (the royal is originally from Philadelphia!), the event is attended by Prince Albert, who gives the children a bespoke gift. Under Prince Albert and Princess Charlene, the party has grown considerably, and the palace courtyard is already set with a large tree, lifesize creche and festive booths where local children will be treated to the party’s traditions of ginger spiced cookies and a secret recipe of hot chocolate.
To honor the centennial of Prince Rainier’s birth and his love of the circus, there will be a few extra surprises in store for the guests.
