Rihanna and Asap Rocky name their son born on August 3, Riot. The couple gave birth their second child in August after the pregnancy was made public during Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance In February. In an epic Super Bowl performance, she showed off her pregnancy bump while headlining the 2023 edition of the show.
Rihanna who doesn’t shy away from the importance of Motherhood and how it has positively impacted her mindset. According to the “What’s My Name” hitmaker, becoming a mother has made her feel she can “take on the world”.
According to the birth certificate acquired by The Blast who first reported the name of the child, Riot was born on August 1, 2023, at 7.41 am. at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. In keeping with a naming tradition that favors the letter ‘R,’ the couple’s newest addition follows his older brother, RZA Athelston Mayers, born in May 2022.
The name which so many people especially on social media trying to decipher the meaning of the name. Some people believe it’s a homage to Asap’s new song “Riot” which features Pharrell Williams. The two couples were friends and kept their friendship even when Rihanna was in a relationship. What started as a rumor has now created two beautiful baby boys.
His name follows the tradition of “R” names in the family. Rihanna’s full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, while A$AP Rocky’s real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers.
