Sarah Ferguson makes meaningful comments about boys as Prince Harry declares war on social media

Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, has shared her thoughts about boys in new statement as Prince Harry has rebroke his silence after reuniting with Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of York, who’s all excited to welcome a new addition to the family, has opened up about being a hands-on grandmother. She spoke of the toys that her three grandchildren love to play with.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s mother’s candid remarks come as Harry has declared war on social media in a new interview on World Mental Health Day (October 10), stating: “In many cases, the smartphone is stealing young people’s childhood.”

However, Ferguson said: “It is one of the most precious, joyful, exciting moments because you’re so proud of your own children, and they’ve done such a good job.

She went on: “But then these are little naughties again, but you can play again.

“And since I am clearly only a three-year-old, I am actually loving making Barbie houses again. I forgot…”

The Duchess also shared her thoughts about the difference in being a grandmother to boys August and Ernest, revealing: “Now I have to play trains.”

Fergie, on This Morning, said: “Boys are different, and I’ve got to know how to play with the train and not to do it wrong, and you know I’ve got to get it right, so it’s really the most extraordinary thing to be a grandmother.”

The mother-of-two has previously spoken about having a “fairy picnic” with Sienna for Beatrice’s birthday last year and how August is teaching her how to “play trains and diggers”.

Fergie’s eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, who is expecting her second child next spring, has three-year-old Sienna. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie is a mother to two sons, August, three, and one-year-old Ernest.
