Scooter Braun: A top name in talent management.

From working with Jermain Dupri’s So So Def, Scooter Braun has made a name for himself as one of the greatest talent managers of his generation. He stated in a Complex Blueprint interview that he found his path to artist management when he parted ways with So So Def owned by ace producer and songwriter Jermain Dupri.

He went on to scout talents and one of his biggest breakthroughs in the beginning of his career as a talent manager was Justin Bieber. The pure talent was clear and undeniable which prompted Scooter to fly him and his family to the US.

Scooter has gone on to make cement his name as one of the best to ever do it.

He’s come under criticisms for some of his works including his feud with Taylor Swift. He bought the record label Taylor Swift was signed to and that included all of Taylor’s records as well which informed her decision to re-record her old albums and release them again.

Recently some of the talents on his roster have called it quits with him. J Balvin is now managed by Roc Nation, Demi Lovato , Ariana Grande, Idina Menzel have are reportedly parted ways with him.

He made a joke about the situation by a tweet:

“Breaking news…I’m no longer managing myself “

He’s still has a rich roster of top talent he’s managing which includes Justin Bieber,  the Kid Laroi, Dan + Shay, Quavo, Ozuna, Tory Kelly et cetera.

He’s denied reports that he’s no longer working with Ariana Grande.
