Zelensky gives Ukraine’s Ambassador to UK the matching orders

Vadym Prystaiko Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom has been sacked after he responded to a statement from his President as ”unhealthy”.

Volodymyr Zelensky’s gratitude over weapons given to him and his country has appeared to be not enough after Ben Wallace said he had warned Ukraine that its allies were “not Amazon”, saying Kyiv needed to show gratitude for weapons it received in order to persuade Western politicians to give more.

His speech at the Nato summit after President Zelensky criticized the military alliance for delays in making Ukraine a member was to be only seen as a precautionary measure for Ukraine to feel that they could rely on the West but the over-reliance and subsequent plea to be granted membership status into Nato should not be hurried in order to escalate tensions.

Mr. Wallace’s remarks had evoked emotions in Kyiv and he later said his words had been “somewhat misrepresented”.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was however overwhelmed and was stuck in awe over how much Ukraine values its support

“How else can we show our gratitude?” Mr. Zelensky said in response to the defense minister’s comments. “We can wake up in the morning and thank the minister. Let him write to me and tell me how to thank him.”

Vadym Prystaiko said his president’s remarks were unhealthy if they are to continue needing more support from Western allies and this has resulted in his dismissal even when Kyiv gave no reason.
